Starting his official career in real estate in 1978 when he graduated from Thiel College, Rick grew up in the real estate business. Being the 3rd generation in the family business, he became broker of The Coup Agency in the 1980’s and continues to assist buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. He especially enjoys working with first-time home buyers, and sellers who need that extra attention and experience to help them through the real estate transaction process. He also specializes in townhome purchases and single family new construction. A graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Rick has been active in his community as well as his real estate profession. He serves as Vice President of the Central Susquehanna Valley’s Multiple Listing Service, which oversees the processing of over 2,000 listings and sales each year; and is the Board of Realtor’s training instructor on the Multiple Listing Service. He is a Past President of the Central Susquehanna Valley Board of Realtors. Rick has been named Realtor of the Year by the organization on two separate occasions. Being born and reared in the community, his community involvement has been wide-reaching. Rick has been deeply involved with the Rotary Club of Milton for over 25 years and has served as it’s President on two different occasions. He is a Past President of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Milton United Way, and been involved with the Boy Scouting program for his entire life. Rick is active in his church and helps with the youth group, sings in the choir and helps keep the church’s computers up to date and running smoothly. Also, Rick has been involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event for many years. He is currently the Chairman of the Milton Salvation Army’s Advisory Board. When he is not working, he enjoys heading to the beach, volunteering for various events and spending time with his wife, children.
